Connections & Everyday Use
Start with your use case, then check the relevant settings. Connection, devices and data each have their own place to check, making it easier to find the next step when something changes.
If access slows down in the evening, first check whether your local network is congested or the route between your selected connection and the site has changed. VPNOU offers a choice of international routes, which you can compare by region and route type rather than relying on a single speed test. Try the site on your usual network at the time you normally use it, and check page loads, video buffering and repeated requests. If the experience is not right, keep your original settings and test another route. Route labels can help organize your options, but they cannot replace testing the actual connection.
Choose your destination region first, then compare performance with your everyday tasks.
On café, hotel or shared-office Wi-Fi, make sure the client is enabled before connecting, then check that the site uses a secure connection. VPNOU provides military-grade encryption, and you can create an account with a username and password—no email address required. Protect both your connection and account: use a unique password, store your login details securely, and treat your subscription link as account information. Keep it out of public screenshots and group chats. A secure service connection does not replace the site's own security settings; check the web address and login status before making payments or sharing sensitive information.

Use your laptop for work, switch to a mobile device when you head out, then pick up where you left off at your desk—without repeatedly disconnecting to change devices. VPNOU supports unlimited devices connected at once, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Get the appropriate client and subscription for each device from your user panel, then verify the import separately. Device limits and plan data allowances are different things, so check your plan's data allowance before use. When multiple devices stream video or download files at once, take your local network into account too.
If ChatGPT will not load or a Cursor request stalls, first check that the service is available, then confirm that your account's supported region matches your current exit location. VPNOU's international routes can connect to AI tools hosted overseas, but account eligibility, regional policies and service availability are determined by each platform. For everyday use, choose a suitable region and verify that both the website and app can complete requests before sticking with it. If something goes wrong, troubleshoot one factor at a time. Avoid switching exit locations repeatedly mid-task, as it can make network changes and account verification prompts harder to distinguish.
When watching services such as Netflix and Disney+, check the regional catalog and playback quality separately. First make sure your account is eligible to watch, then connect to the target region and open the app to check the catalog and playback. VPNOU offers routes across regions, but what you can watch still depends on platform policies, your account region and the current connection. If the site loads but a video will not play, note the platform's message first, then check the app cache and selected exit location. A route label does not guarantee access to every title, and playback quality also depends on your local network and device settings.
The best way to decide whether a service suits long-term use is to try it with your own network, devices and apps. VPNOU offers a 30-day refund policy, so you can assess the connection against your actual needs. During use, check whether your usual regions work for you, the client is easy to maintain, and the data allowance fits your routine. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket with the relevant order details and your request. See the Terms of Service for the applicable terms. Keep your order information handy in case you need help with a payment status or plan change.
Check your order details and submit your refund request through the user panel. Review the refund terms in the Terms of Service before submitting.
When choosing a subscription, consider coverage, devices and billing together. Coverage tells you which regions are available; device support shows how to connect your devices; and the plan allowance helps you manage everyday data use. VPNOU lists these details across its route list, usage guides and plans page, so you can check the facts before choosing what suits your needs.
Once connected, there is no need to run speed tests every day. It is more useful to keep a route that works well with your usual sites, know where to update your subscription, and know where to check your plan status. Adjust settings when your network environment or an app's prompts change. That makes it easier to identify what needs attention than changing everything at once.
Regions and Connection Routes
The table below shows examples of route types and does not represent the options available to your account right now. Check the client for actual regions, cities and route types.
| Country / Region | City | Route Type | Streaming |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hong Kong | Hong Kong | IEPL Dedicated | Check the catalog and playback after connecting |
| Japan | Check the client for current options | Relayed | Check the catalog and playback after connecting |
| United States | Check the client for current options | Relayed | Check the catalog and playback after connecting |
| Singapore | Singapore | IEPL Dedicated | Check the catalog and playback after connecting |
| Italy | Check the client for current options | Direct | Check the catalog and playback after connecting |
If a tool requires a specific region, narrow your options according to the platform's rules. For browsing and everyday work, start by testing a region you use often. A closer location does not necessarily mean faster access to every site; the final route also depends on your local carrier, the destination service and the time of day. Compare routes using the same device and local network for more useful results.
IEPL Dedicated, relayed and direct describe different connection setups, not a universal performance ranking. The types shown in the preview help explain client labels; they are not fixed performance guarantees. When choosing a route, test it with a real task—such as loading a document, sending a request or playing a show—and see whether it needs adjusting. If something goes wrong, consult the Beginner-to-Advanced Handbook and troubleshoot in connection order.
If you need help, note the selected region, route name, client platform and exact error message. “It won’t open” alone is often not enough to pinpoint the issue. Specify whether the prompt appears on the sign-in page, content page or during playback. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your username, subscription link and private order details.

Installation and import are separate steps: after installing, import your subscription into the client. The route list should appear before you are ready to connect. Button labels may vary by platform, so follow the instructions in the panel rather than copying screenshots from another platform word for word.
After connecting, visit a website or tool you use regularly to confirm the app is using the expected route. If the client says it is connected but an app still fails, check that app's network settings and account prompts instead of deleting all your configuration and reinstalling. Follow the same steps when switching devices. Return to the same user panel to update your subscription, change plans or check support tickets.
Your subscription link grants access to your account, so only import it into a client you trust. Fully hide the link in screenshots before sharing them publicly. If you suspect it has been exposed, check the options in the panel or explain the situation in a support ticket.
Follow the usage guide to connect →Monthly Plans & Data Packs
Start with the tasks you do most, then choose a data allowance. Data on all monthly plans resets monthly on your activation date, and you can use unlimited devices at once.
¥9.9 / month
If you mainly browse, read, check email and use lightweight tools, consider this tier based on your usage history. Video streaming and file transfers use data too, so factor those in before choosing.
Data resets monthly on your activation date.
Choose This Plan¥18 / month
If you switch between work, AI tools and video streaming, this tier may be worth comparing. Whether it is enough depends on what you transfer and how you watch; don't use the number of devices as a substitute for estimating data needs.
Data resets monthly on your activation date.
Choose This Plan¥28 / month
If you stream video often, transfer large files or run tasks across several devices at once, compare this data allowance. A larger allowance does not guarantee faster speeds on every site; test the routes you use most.
Data resets monthly on your activation date.
Choose This PlanData packs never expire; use them until they're gone: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. If your usage is irregular or you prefer to pay based on actual data use, compare data packs with monthly plans. Choose based on your usage pattern rather than assuming one billing option is always better value. Data allowances also do not translate into a fixed amount of viewing time.
Monthly plans and data packs are billed differently. Monthly plans come with an allowance that resets each month; data packs draw down from a remaining balance. Check which product type you have selected before deciding. If you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated into the remaining days; check the exact change in the user panel. If you're unsure how your order matches your plan, review the plans page before making a selection in the panel.
Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. A 30-day refund policy applies. After payment, return to the panel to check your order status and plan details. For order assistance, continue the conversation through a support ticket in the panel.
Create an account with a username and password—no email address required. Keep your login details safe; you'll need them to get your subscription, check orders and manage your service.
