VPNOU Route List

Start with the exit region, then compare connection types. Choose routes for your regular browsing, streaming and work so you have a clear basis for switching when needed.

This page provides static route examples and selection tips. Check the app after signing in for actual options and current status.

Region index

Route examples by region

The table does not show speed tests or load. On smaller screens, swipe horizontally to see all columns.

Region is the starting point for choosing a connection; the route type describes how traffic generally reaches its exit. City names help distinguish exits within the same country, but similar names do not guarantee the same experience. First check which region the target website requires, then look for a matching route in the app. This is more reliable than guessing based on geographic distance.

The entries below are examples of regions, cities and route types—not a current inventory or availability notice. The streaming column consistently advises you to verify after connecting: catalogues, account regions and how platforms identify an exit can all affect results, so a country name alone cannot confirm support. Check the app for the full list of available options.

Route locations do not determine where the service is authorized. When accessing streaming platforms, AI tools or work systems, follow the relevant platform’s account, regional and usage rules. A network connection does not replace a platform subscription.

How connection paths work

IEPL, relay and direct connections

These types describe how a route is arranged—not speed tiers or guarantees of access to every website.

Dedicated-line transport

IEPL

Focus on how the international segment is routed

IEPL usually refers to an international Ethernet private line. The key feature is that a dedicated line carries the international segment, rather than relying solely on public internet routing. This describes the transport resources and connection method; it does not mean the entire path from your device to the destination website uses an exclusive link. Local access, the service entry point and the connection from the exit to the destination all affect the experience.

For ongoing work, remote collaboration or extended evening use, consider routes labeled IEPL in the app and test them with the applications you use regularly. Dedicated-line resources generally involve higher leasing and maintenance costs, which accounts for their different cost structure compared with ordinary public internet routes. That does not establish that any particular VPNOU route has exclusive resources, a specific speed ceiling or a separate charge. This page does not set separate route prices; see the Plans page and your dashboard for plan details.

Relay routing

Relay

Separate the access leg from the exit leg

A relay route passes through a service entry point or relay node before reaching the destination exit. This allows the user access leg and the subsequent transport leg to be arranged separately, creating room to adjust paths that may not otherwise be suitable. A relay does not necessarily mean a fixed geographic detour, and the number of nodes alone does not indicate speed. Consider how the entry point connects, how the relay segment is arranged and how the exit reaches the target service.

Relay routes are worth considering for everyday browsing, streaming and mixed use across different websites. If a page loads but video keeps buffering, compare another route in the same region so you can assess the connection without also changing regions. Relays generally require additional forwarding and transport resources, as well as maintenance, so their cost structure differs from direct connections. More nodes do not automatically mean better quality. Choose based on the task at hand, not the route label as a performance ranking.

Public internet access

Direct

A simpler path; performance depends on the actual route

A direct connection usually means the app connects to the selected service node without an additional, specifically configured relay entry point. “Direct” refers only to the service route; it does not mean there are no intermediate routers on the internet. Your network’s egress, carrier interconnections and the destination network all affect the connection, so the same direct route may perform differently on different access networks.

If the websites you visit do not require a particular region, try a suitable direct exit in the app and see whether page loads, file transfers and connection recovery meet your needs. The route is generally simpler and may require fewer relay resources, but that does not mean it is always cheaper or faster. For sessions that need to stay connected for a long time, test it with the applications you use before making it your regular connection. If it does not perform well, trying a relay route in the same region is usually more useful than repeatedly reinstalling the app.

Route type and encryption settings are separate considerations. VPNOU describes its security as military-grade encryption. Choosing IEPL, relay or direct routing does not replace checking the app’s connection status, account permissions and device security settings.

Start with the task

Choose a route for international access by use case

Once the region meets your needs, compare routes. Completing the task reliably is more informative than opening a page just once.

Everyday browsing

Start with a region that works for regular use

For reading international websites, research and web apps, try a nearby region in the app—but do not assume that nearby means faster. Open the sites you actually use, browse several pages, load images and sign in to check for repeated verification prompts or incomplete content. If it works well, keep it as a regular route and note an alternative.

If one website acts up, first work out whether the issue comes from the site, a change in account status or the connection route. If other sites work and only the target site has a problem, check the target service’s own messages. Switching countries frequently introduces new variables and may prompt the site to recheck your sign-in location, making the cause harder to identify.

Streaming

Check the catalogue first, then test playback

A streaming route first needs to match the platform’s regional requirements. After connecting, check the account page and catalogue to see whether they match the region you expect, then play the content you want to watch. Finding a title does not guarantee it will play, and successful playback does not mean your account has access to the desired video quality. Platform subscriptions, playback devices, your local network and how the exit is identified can all affect the outcome, so check each separately.

If playback is choppy, pause other high-bandwidth tasks first, then compare another route in the same region while keeping the account, device and title unchanged. This makes it easier to tell whether changing the route helped. Do not treat route types as a catalogue compatibility list. For more guidance, see our streaming access guide; only the platform’s response after connecting can confirm whether it works.

AI Tools

Keep the exit region consistent with your account usage

When using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Cursor, first check the service’s supported regions, account eligibility and terms of use, then choose an appropriate exit. A page loading only confirms that the site is reachable; also check that you can sign in, submit a request and receive a response, or make calls from within the editor. A network connection does not replace the target platform’s account permissions or paid access.

If your usual tools work, try to keep the exit region consistent, especially while a request is processing. When an error appears, note its exact wording and distinguish authentication issues, usage limits and network errors. Changing routes only affects the connection path; it does not change the target service’s account rules. For app-specific troubleshooting steps, see our AI connectivity guide.

Gaming

Use the game server location as your reference

Games depend more on consistent interaction than download performance alone. Check the game’s selected server or matchmaking region first, then try a corresponding exit. Downloads, lobby sign-in and gameplay may use different routes, so completing an update does not prove the connection is suitable for a match. Test outside critical sessions rather than using an important game session to try out routes.

Also check whether the app is routing the game’s network traffic. Browser access to international websites does not prove the game uses the same route. If switching routes does not help, check your local network and app rules instead of continuing to change regions. VPNOU is an international route subscription service and does not guarantee matchmaking results, response times or platform approval for any particular game.

Work

Check your organization’s access requirements first

For remote work involving company documents, code repositories or admin portals, first confirm whether your organization allows access through this type of connection and whether it requires a specific region or fixed exit address. A regular regional route is not the same as a dedicated fixed address, and this page makes no fixed-address claims. If your company uses an IP allowlist, check with your administrator before relying on the country label in the app.

Test video meetings, file sync and web dashboards separately. Before working with others, confirm that audio and video, uploads and sign-in sessions all work, and have an alternative route ready. Simultaneous devices are unlimited, but check the selected exit and proxy rules on each device. If you already use a corporate connection tool, follow your organization’s routing requirements; running multiple tools that route traffic at once can make troubleshooting more complicated.

Post-connection checks

Verify the exit, app and subscription

Confirm the connection is active

After selecting a route and connecting in the app, check its status first, then use My IP to view your current exit information. Geolocation databases may differ, so assess the result alongside the region shown in the app, what the target website displays and your actual experience. If the target app still uses your local connection, check proxy mode and app rules rather than relying only on the app’s connection toggle.

Change only the route when comparing

Keep the same device, access network and task, and change only the candidate route. Record the route name, time of use, target service and exact error message; this is more useful for troubleshooting than a vague report that the connection is poor. If you need help, submit these details through the support ticket portal in your dashboard. Before sharing screenshots, hide your account details, subscription information and any other sensitive data.

Refresh your subscription if the list changes

The route list may change as maintenance and resource allocation needs shift. If the examples on this page differ from the app, first confirm that you are using an active subscription for your current account, then update it in the dashboard and refresh the app. Do not share your subscription link publicly; it provides access to your account. Setup and import instructions for Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux clients are in the setup guides. Installers are available in the dashboard to users with an active subscription.

Check your plan status and data allowance

If none of the candidate routes work, check both that your subscription is active and that you have data remaining. Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date; mid-cycle upgrades are prorated for the remaining days. Data add-ons remain valid until used and never expire. Do not confuse a depleted data allowance with route maintenance. See the Plans page for full pricing and billing details.

VPNOU requires no email address; sign up with a username and password. Payment is available via Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Rather than repeatedly trying routes based on their names, keep the connection that matches your target region and completes your actual tasks, and have an alternative ready. For ongoing work or accounts tied to a specific region, see the beginner-to-advanced guide for detailed setup and maintenance steps.
